The morning will be devoted to amphibians and include trapping, identification, recording, habitats, and legal requirements. The afternoon session will be spent studying pond invertebrates, including their identification and ecology.

A £5.00 booking fee is payable (Returnable only if cancellation place is filled).
The BIS Recorders Forum will be held this year at Rhayader Leisure Centre on Saturday 22nd November. This is an opportunity for contributing recorders and all those interested in recording and conservation of wildlife in Powys and Brecon Beacons National Park to meet with other members of the recording community and the staff of the Biodiversity Information Centre. There will be presentations from BIS, its partners and local recorders, plenty of time for discussion and a buffet lunch provided. See program attatched.
